For the first time that I can recall, Tornado Boy has declared a profession for his future – he said that he wants to be a pilot. I’m pretty sure that the desire is directly linked to the above photo. The flight attendant and co-pilot of our flight this weekend offered him the chance to sit in the cockpit of the plane. I was very nervous that he would push the wrong button since he is such a button pusher. Tornado Boy managed to contain himself and he really enjoyed the experience. To note, we were safely on the ground during this part of our adventure! 
Wow! How exciting! I can really see him as a pilot when he grows up. They must have seen something in him to lead him to the cockpit. I doubt that they do this with just anybody!
Whoa – the pilots still do that? I thought that there is a ban on all cockpit visits since Sep 11. It’s pretty neat that TB got to “fly” a real plane
