I always wanted to try that but wasn’t sure if it’s safe. Now, I know.
Slip ‘n Slide falls squarely into the category of “things that I wanted to do as a kid that I didn’t get to”. I actually did a test slide (fully clothed!) to show Tornado Boy how to use it since he wasn’t quite getting it. He’s actually riding it backwards in the photo – he’s supposed to be going up towards the pillow part, but our backyard slopes the wrong way for where the hose connection is. He loved it, even though he never did get it to slide the whole way. It was a lot of fun. I figured that it was good practice for future baseball slides.
Our neighbors have one, and it’s a lot of fun, especially for older kids. TB looks like he is enjoying himself.
