Legos have really given me hope. Tornado Boy and Dad are playing with them nearly every night for very long periods of time. They made a tower that was nearly 5 feet tall the other night. Tornado Boy was on a ladder to put on the finishing touches. I’m really thrilled that he’s found something that he will pay attention to for long periods of time. He’s growing up!
To see what other families are up to this week – hop on over to Homeschool Creations.

I’m jealous of your school area. I realize I could probably have similar if I applied myself, but that would require so much follow through.
And awesome Lego creation, mine will play for hours with it too.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I don’t deserve that much credit, Ticia. A couple of those are shots from a museum.
Looks like a productive, fun school week! My son loves Legos. They are such a great way for kids to spend time building, thinking, and having fun! Enjoy your weekend!
Stopping by from the Homeschool Crew~ love your photos!

I am glad that TB has so much exposure to learning activities outside his home, but this Lego house is fantastic. Obviously, you have now two Lego enthusiasts in your house

I’d rather a hurricane hit Colorado than here! I’m in Southeast Texas and we have been hit with 2 major hurricanes in the past 5 years (I don’t ever remember having to evacuate as a child). So, I’m liking his forecast!
Awww…I remember playing with Legos as a child. I would love for my 3 year old to be able to play with them, but we’ll have to wait…my almost 1 year old would eat them!
